- Project Execution & Timely Completion
- Develop and implement a Master Execution Plan (MEP) covering civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and refractory work.
- Monitor project milestones and critical path activities using project management tools like Primavera/MS Project.
- Ensure site mobilization, material availability, and workforce readiness at all execution stages.
- Resolve bottlenecks proactively by coordinating with internal stakeholders and contractors.
- Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, minimizing time overruns.
- Optimal coordination and performance of EPC contractors, OEMs, and technology licensors
- Finalize contractor selection based on technical and commercial evaluation.
- Conduct kick-off meetings and periodic performance reviews with all contractors.
- Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to define key deliverables and penalties for delays.
- Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Implement strict EHS policies aligned with Indian industrial safety standards.
- Ensure zero accidents and lost-time injuries (LTIs) through a behavior-based safety (BBS) approach.
- Implement ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards.
- Conduct internal and external safety inspections and ensure compliance with Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) guidelines.
- Project Execution (CAPEX & OPEX)
- Implement a real-time cost monitoring system to track project expenditures.
- Identify and control cost overruns through value engineering and efficient resource allocation.
- Optimize procurement strategies to avoid cost escalations.
- Conduct periodic budget reviews with finance and procurement teams.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to minimize cost escalations.
- Integration of new copper manufacturing process
- o • Work closely with Process Engineering and R&D teams to define process flow and integration points.
- Ensure seamless commissioning of FSF, PSC, SAP, and associated auxiliary plants.
- Oversee automation, SCADA, and DCS system integration.
- Coordinate with OEMs and technology licensors to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct pre-commissioning and validation tests to ensure process efficiency
- Procurement & Logistics
- Develop a material delivery schedule aligned with the execution plan.
- Work with procurement to avoid delays in long-lead equipment procurement.
- Optimize on-site material storage and movement to reduce congestion.
- Address supply chain disruptions through alternate vendor selection and contingency planning.
- Pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover to the Operations team
- Develop a structured commissioning plan for all process units.
- Conduct dry runs, performance tests, and full-load trials.
- Ensure all testing, inspection, documentation, safety checks, and approvals are completed before startup.
- Provide a knowledge transfer roadmap for Operations teams.
