Serenity Café
Serenity Café is a property of SRM Integrated Services, a Pune-based operational services company founded in 2015. Positioned as an operational ecosystem partner, SRM designs and manages integrated systems across food, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure seamless, efficient operations at scale.
Located within the prestigious MIT Art, Design & Technology (MIT ADT) University, Loni Kalbhor, Pune, Serenity Café is a student-focused, in-campus café designed as more than just a food space. It brings together health-focused dining, interactive service, and a collaborative, co-working environment tailored for student life.
The café follows a pure vegetarian, no-alcohol philosophy, fostering a clean, inclusive, and accessible space centred around well-being, affordability, and community.
Set within a vibrant campus of over 12,000+ students and situated next to the iconic World Peace Dome; one of the largest domes in the world, Serenity Café exists at the intersection of culture, creativity, and everyday campus life.
As Serenity Café enters a phase of operational refinement, we are hiring the professionals to take charge of kitchen and service systems.
This is for individuals who don’t just manage, but build, stabilise, and lead from the front.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Head Chef to take full ownership of the kitchen at Serenity Café, from food quality and consistency to team performance and kitchen discipline.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead daily kitchen operations (prep, cooking, service execution)
· Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
· Standardise recipes and maintain kitchen SOPs
· Monitor food quality from procurement to plating
· Manage kitchen staff, training, and performance
· Control food cost, reduce wastage, and manage inventory
· Maintain hygiene and FSSAI compliance at all times
· Coordinate with management for menu updates and improvements
Requirements
· Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts (Mandatory)
· 4–6 years of kitchen experience (lead role preferred)
· Strong understanding of kitchen systems and costing
· Hands-on execution ability under pressure
· Strong leadership and discipline
