Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic Head Chef for a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, sourcing quality ingredients, managing budgets, and ensuring cost-effective operations. Additionally, the role involves mentoring team members, innovating menu items, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Extensive culinary skills, including expertise in menu planning, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
- Proficiency in kitchen operations, including staff training, inventory management, and food procurement.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience guiding and inspiring kitchen staff.
- Budgeting and cost control skills to optimize kitchen efficiency and manage expenses effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Flexibility, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset, with the ability to handle high-pressure environments.
- Culinary arts degree or equivalent professional experience in a similar role is strongly preferred.
