Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef located in Bengaluru. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, develop and manage a health-focused menu, and lead the culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes. Responsibilities include supervising food preparation, managing inventory, maintaining hygiene standards, and innovating new recipes that align with the cafe’s mission of providing pure and wholesome food and beverages.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Menu Development, Culinary Techniques, and Food Presentation
- Experience in Kitchen Management, Inventory Control, and Food Cost Management
- Knowledge of Health-Conscious and Nutritional Cooking Practices
- Leadership and Team Management skills, including Training and Mentorship
- Commitment to Excellent Hygiene Standards and Food Safety Practices
- Ability to innovate and adapt recipes based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Culinary certification or relevant hospitality degree preferred
- Prior experience in health-focused or specialty cafes is a plus
