POSITION OVERVIEW
The Head Chef will lead all culinary operations across D9's restaurants, bars, cafés, event catering, and special dining experiences. The role is responsible for menu development, food quality, kitchen operations, team leadership, food cost management, and culinary innovation.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, commercial understanding, and experience managing high-volume kitchens while consistently delivering exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead overall kitchen operations
Develop and innovate menus
Ensure food quality and consistency
Manage food cost and wastage control
Drive kitchen productivity and efficiency
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Train and develop kitchen teams
Manage inventory and procurement planning
Standardize recipes and kitchen SOPs
Support events, banquets, and special menus
Coordinate with F&B and operations teams
Ensure guest satisfaction and feedback management

ELIGIBILITY
Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or related field
8–15 years of experience in hospitality, restaurants, clubs, hotels, or premium dining concepts
Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role as Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef
Strong knowledge of Indian, Continental, Asian, and modern dining concepts
Experience managing high-volume kitchens
Expertise in recipe standardization and kitchen SOP implementation
Strong understanding of food costing and inventory controls
Pre-opening experience will be an added advantage
Ability to work flexible schedules, weekends, and events
