Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef, located in Pune City. The Head Chef will oversee and manage kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include designing seasonal menus, supervising food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. The role also involves collaborating with the management team to align culinary offerings with the brand ethos and customer preferences. Additionally, the Head Chef will be responsible for inventory control, cost management, and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all customers.
Qualifications
- Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and developing unique recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor kitchen staff
- Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance protocols
- Skills in inventory management, cost control, and supplier coordination
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with the management team
- Creativity and innovation with a keen sense of trends in the culinary and beverage industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Formal culinary education or certification is preferred
