Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Cashier located in Tiruchirappalli. The Head Cashier will oversee daily cash operations, including managing cash transactions, handling payments, balancing cash registers, and ensuring proper cash flow management. They are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, resolving cash-related discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Head Cashier will guide and supervise cashier staff to deliver efficient services and a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Expertise in cash handling, register operations, and POS systems
- Experience in managing and supervising cashier or customer service staff
- Proficiency in financial record-keeping and report generation
- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and customer issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer support
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role in the retail or service industry is an advantage
