Job Title:- Head- Branch Banking

Location:- Mumbai

Job Roles and Responsibilities:-

1. To drive Branch banking team towards various targets.
2. Define & implement the Branch banking strategy aligned with the Bank’s vision and Retail Business objectives.
3. Develop thorough acquisition and engagement plans for Deposit, Advances and Third-party fee income.
4. Drive cross sell initiatives across asset and liability products.
5. Oversee implementation and ensure success of sales campaigns and Product launches.
6. Lead branch expansion strategy including new branch roll outs, manpower rationalization, infrastructure readiness.
7. Own the P& L for Branch Banking and ensure achievement of revenue, profitability targets.
8. Monitor performance of Branches, roll out and execute corrective action plans.
9. Ensure standardization of branch processes, Data quality and service delivery.
10. Maintain strong internal controls and fraud prevention mechanisms.
11. Ensure Regulatory adherence in all areas of Branch Banking.
12. Manage high value and escalated customer requests.
13. Ensure improvement in service quality and minimize customer complaints.
14. Drive leadership development and succession planning.
15. Optimize manpower planning and cost efficiency.
16. Collaborate with Product, Risk, IT, Operations etc teams.

Qualifications & Experience

1. MBA/ Postgraduate (preferred)
2. More than 15 years of experience in Retail Banking
3. Minimum 5 years proven track record in a senior leadership role in a mid-sized Bank.
4. Extensive experience and knowledge of Branch banking products and operations.
5. Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge
