Role Description The Head at SALA I VILÀ Arquitectura will lead the studio’s projects from concept through completion, overseeing design development, technical documentation, and coordination with consultants and clients. This full-time, on-site role in Patna involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that all work meets safety, regulatory, and quality standards. The Head will guide and mentor team members, review design proposals and drawings, and make key decisions on materials, layouts, and construction details. Daily responsibilities include participating in design reviews, supervising site visits, resolving project issues, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. The role also includes contributing to business development activities, such as presenting proposals, supporting client acquisition, and strengthening the studio’s local presence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading architecture projects, including concept design, detailed design, and construction oversight.
- Strong capability in architectural planning, building codes, and regulatory compliance relevant to projects in Patna and surrounding regions.
- Ability to manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with consultants, and oversee contractors and site activities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
- Proficiency in architectural design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and familiarity with visualization methods.
- Solid organizational and project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution; professional registration or eligibility is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to balance creative design thinking with practical, buildable solutions and long-term sustainability considerations.
- Experience working in an on-site leadership capacity and readiness to be based in Patna.
