Role Overview
Responsible for end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and vendor management for raw materials and components, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability to support production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead procurement of raw materials, battery components, and sub-assemblies.
Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers; manage RFQs and purchase orders.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Build and manage vendor relationships; track supplier performance.
Ensure timely procurement aligned with production requirements.
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels (avoid overstock/stockouts).
Maintain BOMs, procurement records, and inventory data in company systems.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production for vendor qualification (PPAP).
Track market trends, pricing, and supply risks.
Requirements
Experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Proficiency in ERP/inventory software and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of lithium battery components (preferred).
Preferred
Background in manufacturing/electronics/EV industry.
Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations.
