Quality Management & ComplianceLead and strengthen Food Safety & Quality Management Systems (FSMS) in line with:FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000HACCP, GMP, GHPFSSAI regulations & Food Safety and Standards Act (India)Ensure plant-wide compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standardsDrive continuous improvement in quality systems and processes2. Audit ManagementLead internal, external, and certification audits (FSSC 22000 / BRCGS or equivalent)Ensure audit readiness across manufacturing sitesDrive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to closureLiaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies3. QC Operations & Lab ManagementOversee Quality Control labs and testing, including:Moisture analysisTexture analysisWater activityMicrobiological testing (TPC, yeast & mold, pathogens)Approve/reject raw materials, in-process, and finished goodsEnsure calibration and validation of lab equipment4. Supplier Quality ManagementDevelop and manage supplier quality assurance programsConduct supplier audits and performance evaluationsApprove raw material specifications (flour, fats, seasonings, packaging materials, etc.)Ensure vendor compliance with food safety standards5. Customer & Product QualityHandle customer complaints and lead root cause analysisDrive continuous improvement based on consumer feedbackEnsure robust product traceability and recall systems (mock recall readiness)Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Supply Chain)6. Team LeadershipLead, train, and mentor QA/QC teams across manufacturing unitsDrive GMP, hygiene, and CCP monitoring cultureBuild a strong quality-first mindset across the organizationKey RequirementsEducationBachelor’s Degree in:Food Technology / Food ScienceMicrobiology / ChemistryMaster’s Degree (preferred)Experience15+ years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in food manufacturing5–10 years in leadership/managerial roleMust have experience in FMCG (snacks, biscuits, bakery, or similar categories)Certifications & KnowledgeCertified Internal Auditor (FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 or equivalent)Strong knowledge of:HACCP & GMPBRCGS / FSSC 22000FSSAI regulationsHalal / export compliance standards (good to have)Technical SkillsHands-on experience with:Moisture analyzersTexture analyzersWater activity metersMicrobiological testingStrong knowledge of:Statistical Quality Control (SPC, Control Charts)Root Cause Analysis (Fishbone, 5 Whys)Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint Click on Apply to know more.
