Role Summary
The Head – Precast Operations (HPO) is a P&L-owning business leader responsible for building Janaadhar’s precast operations into a scalable, capital-efficient, multi-plant execution platform.
The role owns revenue delivery through execution, plant utilisation, margin optimisation, and operating capital efficiency, with a minimum of 3 years of prior P&L responsibility for a company, plant, or large project portfolio.
The HPO’s mandate is to transform precast from a project-driven execution activity into a predictable, system-led operating business, anchored by strong contracting pipelines, disciplined production planning, and rigorous cost and quality control.
This role is accountable not just for execution, but for predictable throughput, profitability, and operational discipline.

Your Mission
To build, stabilise, and optimise Janaadhar’s precast operations as a scalable and capital-efficient execution platform, with end-to-end ownership of revenue delivery, plant utilisation, margins, and ROCE (Return on Capital Employed).
The Head – Precast Operations will:
- Drive strong contracting pipelines in coordination with the CEO and business teams
- Ensure optimal utilisation of all precast plants and site erection capacities
- Deliver predictable monthly throughput, billing, and cash-flow visibility
- Expand manufacturing capacity only when demand visibility, margins, and ROCE are clearly proven

1. Role Intent (Updated & Clarified)
HPO/DPO is a P&L-owning execution and growth leader responsible for converting Janaadhar’s precast capability into a predictable, high-utilisation, capital-efficient platform.
This role exists to:
- Fully absorb execution, throughput, and billing ownership
- Scale precast revenues to institutional levels
- Remove day-to-day operational dependency on the CEO
- Enable the CEO to focus on strategy, capital, partnerships, and culture
This is not a plant head role.
This is not an execution-only role.
This is a revenue-through-execution leadership role.
2. Non-Negotiable Outcomes (Board-Aligned)
Within 18–24 months, the HPO / DPO is accountable for:
- ₹50 Cr+ annual throughput from the Bangalore precast platform
- MPMC Pune stabilised and margin-positive
- Predictable monthly billing and cash visibility
- Zero CEO involvement in daily operations or client escalations
- Evidence-based readiness for future precast expansion

A. End-to-End Precast Services Ownership (Core)
Own commercial + operational outcomes across all precast engagements:
Client-Owned Facilities

- MPMC Pune (Police Housing)
Responsibilities
- Contractual delivery, timelines, and quality
- Cost, productivity, and margin discipline
- Full authority over deployed Janaadhar teams
- Client coordination, certification, billing, and escalation
- Commercial accountability—not just execution
B. Janaadhar-Owned Precast Platform – Bangalore (JIPP)
Full business ownership of the Bangalore precast platform:
- Production planning and order-book smoothing
- Capacity utilisation and throughput optimisation
- Integration of factory output with erection schedules
- QA/QC, safety, maintenance, logistics
- Continuous margin and productivity improvement
Explicit Expectation
Runs JIPP as a business, not a factory.
C. Tactical Revenue Growth (Clarified per Board Feedback)
The HPO / DPO will:
- Drive internal and external sales for known precast products
- Convert repeat institutional demand into predictable revenue
- Support CEO selectively on pricing strategy and client selection
- Ensure revenue growth is execution-backed, not speculative
D. Capital Efficiency & Expansion Readiness (Aligned with CFO)
In partnership with the CFO:
- Maximise ROCE of existing precast assets
- Establish standard productivity and cost benchmarks
- Evaluate new plant opportunities only when:
- Utilisation is sustained
- Margins are predictable
- Leadership bench is ready
Expansion without utilisation discipline is explicitly discouraged.
E. Leadership & Institutional Discipline
- Build strong second-line leaders across plants and projects
