About the Role
We are seeking a mature, execution-driven professional to lead the Office of the
Director – Sales & Marketing.
This is a high-responsibility role requiring commercial acumen, structured thinking, and
the ability to drive governance across both sales performance and marketing effectiveness. The role will anchor execution discipline, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination across revenue, brand, and market-facing initiatives. The incumbent will oversee two Operations team members and act as an extension of the Director in driving accountability and alignment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership of the Director’s Office
- Lead and supervise two Operations team members
- Build structured governance mechanisms across sales and marketing functions
- Institutionalise reporting frameworks, trackers, dashboards, and review cadence
- Ensure the Office of the Director operates with discipline and credibility
2. Sales Performance Governance
- Monitor revenue targets, sales pipeline movement, and territory performance
- Track sales reviews, target achievement, variance analysis, and corrective actions
- Ensure follow-through on commitments made during business reviews
- Maintain structured MIS for leadership reporting
3. Marketing Performance & Campaign Tracking
- Track marketing initiatives, campaign rollouts, and launch timelines
- Monitor campaign effectiveness, ROI, and performance metrics
- Coordinate brand reviews, product launch preparedness, and go-to-market plans
- Oversee planning, coordination, and execution tracking of exhibitions, trade fairs, stall participation, and branding initiatives
- Ensure alignment between marketing strategies and sales execution
- Track budgets, agency deliverables, and marketing calendar adherence
4. Execution & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Translate strategic directives into clear action plans with defined ownership
- Drive closure of action items across senior managers and cross-functional teams
- Proactively escalate risks, delays, or execution gaps
- Participate in sales and marketing review meetings to ensure accountability
5. Executive Representation & Strategic Support
- Represent the Director in internal forums and review meetings
- Prepare high-level presentations, commercial analysis, and business updates
- Support strategic discussions with structured data and insights
- Handle sensitive commercial and organisational matters with discretion
