Department: Operations & Strategy
Location: Head Office – Hyderabad (with travel to project sites as required)
Salary: ₹1.5 Lakhs to 3 Lakhs per month (Take Home)
Reporting To: Managing Director
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and result-driven professional to take full ownership of all mining operations and business development activities. The role requires strong leadership, quick decision-making as per industry standards, and the ability to manage multiple projects while driving business growth. The position works directly with the Managing Director and plays a key role in expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities
Complete Project Ownership
- Lead and manage all ongoing mining projects end-to-end
- Ensure smooth execution from mobilization to completion
- Deliver production targets within timelines and quality standards
Operations Management
- Oversee performance of HEMMs (excavators, dumpers, dozers, etc.)
- Maximize equipment utilization and minimize downtime
- Manage site teams, supervisors, and operators
- Ensure safety compliance and operational discipline
Business Development
- Identify and secure new mining and earthmoving projects
- Lead tendering, bidding, and negotiation processes
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships
- Drive expansion of project portfolio
Financial & Working Capital Management
- Monitor project costs (fuel, maintenance, manpower)
- Ensure efficient use of working capital
- Maintain profitability and cost control across projects
- Plan and allocate resources effectively
Multi-Project & Strategic Management
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Plan and execute new project mobilization
- Improve systems, processes, and productivity
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Leadership & Decision Making
- Take fast, practical decisions aligned with industry standards
- Act as a key decision-maker for operational and business matters
- Provide regular updates and strategic inputs to the Managing Director
Candidate Requirements
- 10–20+ years of experience in mining / earthmoving operations
- Strong expertise in open cast mining and HEMMs operations
- Proven track record in project execution and business development
- Experience handling multiple sites and large teams
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Work Conditions
- Based at Head Office – Hyderabad
- Must be willing to travel to project sites as per requirement
