Head – Individual Giving & Philanthropy
Jivika Foundation is a mission-driven organization working toward a Cervical Cancer–Free
India through large-scale HPV vaccination, prevention programs, and community
awareness initiatives. The organization has recently crossed 50,000 HPV vaccinations and is
expanding its program portfolios in public health and preventive care.
Location Flexibility: This role can be remote, hybrid, or location flexible within India or
internationally. Engagement will be reviewed quarterly based on strategic progress and
funds mobilized.
Role Overview
Jivika Foundation is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to establish and scale its
Individual Giving and Philanthropy vertical. The role will focus on mobilizing support from
citizens, communities, and philanthropists to accelerate Jivika’s mission of expanding HPV
vaccination and preventive healthcare initiatives across India.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the annual retail and individual giving strategy
Establish digital, community, and campaign-based fundraising channels
Design and execute multi-channel fundraising campaigns
Expand the individual donor base and recurring giving programs
Build relationships with high-net-worth individuals and philanthropists
Create structured donor stewardship and engagement systems
Build internal fundraising processes and governance frameworks
Establish donor CRM systems and reporting mechanisms
Collaborate with program teams to develop fundable program portfolios
Represent Jivika Foundation in philanthropic and donor networks
Expected Outcomes – First 3 Months
Conduct fundraising landscape and opportunity assessment
Develop annual individual giving strategy
Identify 50+ potential HNI prospects
Launch first fundraising campaign
Establish donor communication framework
Develop donor database and CRM structure
Expected Outcomes – First Year
Mobilize ₹3–5 crore through retail and individual giving
Acquire 1,000+ individual donors
Build pipeline of 50–75 HNI donors
Execute 4–6 fundraising campaigns
Establish recurring donor program
Achieve 50–60% donor retention rate
Candidate Profile
8–15 years of experience in fundraising, philanthropy, or nonprofit development
Proven track record of mobilizing philanthropic funds
Strong networks among philanthropists, donor communities, or CSR leaders
Experience building or scaling individual giving programs
Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset and execution capability
