As the Head of ERP, you will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of the organization’s ERP landscape while driving a large-scale transformation from legacy systems (Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP ECC) to a unified Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP platform.
This role requires strategic leadership combined with operational excellence to ensure seamless support for finance, supply chain, and administrative functions in a 24/7 mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and governance for existing Oracle E-Business Suite and multiple SAP ECC implementations
- Oversee day-to-day ERP operations, including change request management and audit compliance
- Ensure high system availability, performance optimization, and adherence to regulatory standards
- Lead ERP transformation by managing migration from Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP ECC to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
- Define and execute migration strategy, including wave planning, data migration, cutover, and hypercare
- Manage program budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations
- Build and lead a high-performing ERP team comprising functional and technical experts
- Develop a strong Centre of Excellence and ensure capability building within the team
- Act as a key liaison between Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Technology stakeholders
- Drive process harmonization and organizational change management across business units
- Manage relationships with vendors and implementation partners, including Oracle, SAP, and system integrators
- Establish strong data governance, master data management, and analytics capabilities
- Ensure compliance with security standards, segregation of duties, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NABH, HIPAA, DPDP)
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10 to 18 years of progressive ERP experience, including at least 3 large-scale end-to-end implementations as Program or Delivery Head
- Hands-on experience with one or more ERP platforms:
- Oracle E-Business Suite
- SAP ECC / S/4HANA
- Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Finance, SCM, HCM, EPM)
- Proven experience in ERP migration or consolidation programs, particularly to Oracle Fusion
- Strong stakeholder management skills with exposure to senior leadership (C-level executives)
- Deep expertise in managing live ERP environments, including change management, patching, and audit compliance
- Experience in highly regulated industries (healthcare preferred; pharma/life sciences also considered)

- Enterprise-level accounting processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external partners and system integrators
