We help businesses identify their actual risk exposure and structure the right cover — not just place policies. This role leads our Corporate Insurance vertical covering employee benefits and commercial lines for SMEs.
Role Overview
We need a focused go-getter who can independently build a corporate and SME client book. The right candidate understands business risk, converts risk gaps into insurance opportunities, and is comfortable pursuing decision-makers through LinkedIn, professional networks, and existing corporate connections.
Insurance Lines
- Group Health Insurance (mediclaim, top-up, family floater)
- Group Term Life and EDLI-linked structures
- Group Personal Accident and Workmen's Compensation
- Fire and Allied Perils for business premises
- Burglary, Cash-in-Transit, and Fidelity Guarantee
- Marine, Professional Indemnity, Keyman, D&O
Key Responsibilities
- Own a corporate and SME client pipeline from first contact to closure and renewal
- Conduct risk profiling discussions with business owners, HR heads, and CFOs
- Convert identified risks into structured proposals, not commodity quotes
- Drive proactive outreach via LinkedIn, professional networks, and past corporate connections
- Manage insurer relationships for pricing, scheme approvals, and claims support
- Own GWP targets with full pipeline and conversion accountability
- Ensure IRDAI-compliant placements with proper needs-analysis documentation
Client Acquisition Approach
- LinkedIn outreach: Use Sales Navigator to engage HR heads, CFOs, and SME founders via connection requests, InMail, and content engagement
- Professional networks: Engage through trade bodies, CA networks, and business owner groups
- Existing relationships: Activate prior client and insurer connections from day one
- Targeted cold outreach: Approach decision-makers with insight-led proposals based on researched risk gaps
Required Profile
- 8–12 years in corporate or SME insurance sales
- Strong knowledge of employee benefit and commercial lines
- Proven self-generated pipeline and deal closure track record
- Experience engaging CFOs, HR heads, and business owners directly
- Existing corporate or insurer relationships ready to activate
- Graduate / MBA preferred
