About MCMCR
MCMCR (MCGM Centre for Municipal Capacity Building and Research) is a State Level Special Training Centre recognised by the Government of Maharashtra, established under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). MCMCR delivers specialised training, applied research, advisory, and capacity-building programmes for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across Maharashtra and India.

Head - Centre for Civil & Infrastructure Engineering

Role Overview
The Head will provide academic, research and administrative leadership to MCMCR's Centre for Civil & Infrastructure Engineering. The role involves shaping the Centre's strategic direction, designing and delivering training and certification programmes for engineers and officials of ULBs, leading applied research and consultancy projects, mentoring faculty, and building partnerships with academia, government, industry and international agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic, research and administrative leadership for the Centre.
- - Design and deliver training, certification and capacity-building programmes for ULB engineers and officials.
- - Lead applied research and consultancy assignments in civil and infrastructure engineering.
- Mentor and guide Associate Faculty and supporting staff.
- Build institutional partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, industry, and international agencies.
- Oversee project delivery, quality, budgets, timelines and reporting.
- Contribute to MCMCR's overall growth and thought leadership in urban infrastructure.
