What do we do: ShopDeck helps e-commerce merchants set up and manage their D2C storefront ?profitably?. Proposition for merchants: D2C selling made as easy as selling on e-com marketplaces Why build this? India?s D2C wave has been limited to venture - funded D2C brands today The art of selling on your own website is not democratised. There are ~ 500k-1M sellers who can sell D2C but can at best sell on marketplaces Philosophically - we feel brand owners should spend most of their time on the product and not on channel optimization Status - quo software solve for work-flow management of storefront but don?t do enough on ?helping? merchants sell well! Our proposition We have a software services proposition for the merchant with the goal of optimising for the merchant's profitability.Our product is an all-in-one software stack that gives merchants everything they need to sell D2C, i.e. Storefront, Shipping, Marketing integrations, Communication. Our services layer works on top of this software stack to achieve profitability for merchants. Here, we combine 4-key roles in classic e-commerce setup, all relevant for any D2C brand as well: Marketing manager (?top of the funnel?) Category manager (?products/merchandising?) Product manager (?website/app metrics?) Ops manager (?shipping metrics?) Our services layer measures metrics across all these buckets to optimise and take appropriate actions for merchant?s profitability.Over time, the goal is to productize our services layer - which we believe will move the baseline of what merchants expect from a storefront software. Founders: Rishabh Verma Harmin Shah Role Charter: Location : Bengaluru (with multi-city travel) Experience : 8?12 Years About the Role We are looking for a Head ? Partner & Feet on Street (FoS) Sales to lead our on-ground expansion across multiple cities in India. This role is critical to building our partner ecosystem and FoS sales engine from scratch, driving merchant acquisition, and establishing scalable city-level operations. You will own strategy execution ? from setting up new cities to building high-performing sales teams and partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Business Expansion & City Launch Lead launch and scaling of operations across multiple Indian cities Build city-wise expansion plans including targets, hiring, and GTM strategy Own merchant onboarding and revenue targets for new markets Partner Development Build and manage partnerships with local aggregators, channel partners, and FoS agencies Create partner acquisition frameworks and incentive models Drive partner productivity and performance metrics FoS Sales Leadership Hire, train, and manage FoS sales teams across regions Establish SOPs, playbooks, and reporting structures Track daily funnel metrics: leads, conversions, activations Strategy & Execution Define sales processes, city KPIs, and dashboards Forecast growth, manage budgets, and optimize CAC Work closely with Product, Ops & Marketing teams to improve conversion What We?re Looking For : 8?12 years of experience in Field Sales / Partner Sales / GTM / City Expansion Proven experience scaling businesses across multiple cities (Fintech / SaaS / D2C / Marketplaces preferred) Strong understanding of FoS sales models & partner ecosystems Hands-on leader who can operate both at strategic and ground level Experience building teams from scratch Excellent stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel extensively Good to Have: Prior experience in high-growth startups Experience working with SMB merchants Exposure to India-wide expansion projects Why Join Us?
