     • Post-Graduation: M.Sc. (Medical Physics)
  Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training NIL

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all manual & TPS based radiotherapy treatment planning.
  • Perform periodic quality assurance of all radiotherapy treatment units & treatment planning systems.
  • Perform radiation dosimetry checks (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly checks as applicable)
  • Supervision of simulation if it is instructed.
  • Supervision of patient treatment if it is instructed
  • Radiation survey of radiotherapy instillations.
  • Maintenance of equipment’s in co-ordination with engineers.
  • Maintenance of records (TLD, BARC/AERB correspondence stocks, NABH and etc)
  • Safe handling & disposal of radioactive materials /waste/contaminated materials.
  • Teaching & training technical staffs & students.
  • Research activities
  • Undertaking the tasks designated by chief/lead physicist.
