About the company
This multi-academy trust has been established for over 10 years and has a strong presence in Manchester, Merseyside, Yorkshire and Staffordshire and, due to a recent internal promotion, the Head of IT is seeking an IT Operations Manager to join the trust on a permanent basis. The trust has 40 academies across the region, consisting of schools that have converted, but also new schools which have been opened by the trust and there is further ambition to continue this growth. As a trust, they have been through a transformation from an IT perspective and technologies are well embedded into the organisation, however they are always focusing on improving their IT infrastructure and looking at projects focused on cyber, cloud and other specialist areas. The central IT team consists of over 25 specialists who are focused on providing a high level of infrastructure support to individual schools, end users and the wider trust team and this is an integral role for the trust.
