About the role

We're looking for a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to join our team and help bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and making it work in real-world scenarios. You'll be at the forefront of AI innovation, creating content and building relationships that showcase how PromptQL empowers developers to work with AI more effectively. What the role will involve: Technical Content CreationDevelop comprehensive tutorials and documentation showcasing PromptQL's capabilities in modern AI applicationsCreate demos highlighting PromptQL's differentiation from traditional RAG approachesBuild and maintain sample applications that demonstrate best practicesAuthor technical blog posts about AI/ML trends and PromptQL implementations Community EngagementRepresent the company at relevant meetups, hackathons and conferences as a participant / speakerEngage with AI engineers and research labs to demonstrate PromptQL's capabilities with business dManage and grow our developer community through active participation on platforms like GitHub, Discord, and TwitterFoster meaningful relationships within the AI/ML developer communityGather and communicate community feedback to improve product development Technical AdvocacyStay current with advances from major AI labs and integrate new developments into PromptQL examplesBuild and showcase benchmarks and examples of PromptQL’s business data access capabilities in contrast to traditional AI workflowsContribute to product strategy based on developer feedback and industry trendsHelp shape the developer experience through constructive feedback on documentation and onboarding Requirements5+ years of software development experienceStrong understanding of data pipelines, AI/ML concepts, particularly in areas of AI application development & RAGStrong technical writing skills with a portfolio of blog posts or tutorialsExperience speaking at technical conferences or meetupsExcellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical conceptsTrack record of building and maintaining relationships with technical communities Nice to HaveExperience with building AI agents or assistantsFamiliarity with vector databases and embedding technologiesPrevious developer relations or developer advocacy experienceActive presence in AI/ML developer communitiesExperience creating technical video content Location:Out of our office in San Francisco, US Compensation:The compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 - $200,000 (including bonus) plus ESOPs.
