Engineer II - Frontend (Mutiple Openings)

Packer standardizes image workflows across cloud providers, allowing teams to build, govern and manage any image for any cloud. Waypoint makes infrastructure easily accessible at scale, enabling platform teams to deliver golden patterns and workflows with an internal developer platform. Nomad brings modern application scheduling to any type of software, allowing you to manage containers, binaries and VMs efficiently in the cloud, on-premises and across edge environments. Security Lifecycle Management: Protect / Inspect / Connect Vault provides organizations with identity-based security to automatically authenticate and authorize access to secrets and other sensitive data. Boundary standardizes secure remote access across dynamic environments, allowing organizations to connect users and manage access with identity-based security controls. Consul standardizes service networking, allowing you to discover and securely connect any service across any runtime with identity-based service networking. We deliver the Infrastructure Cloud through an enterprise-grade unified SaaS platform, HCP, as well as to enterprises through self-managed/on-premises options. Across product engineering and platform engineering teams, we are looking for great engineers to come join us in developing the Infrastructure Cloud! What you'll do (responsibilities) Design, prototype, and implement front-end features and tools while ensuring stability and usability. Lead large customer-facing projects and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver multi-team engineering efforts. Work closely with Product and Design teams to drive product innovations from concept to Beta to GA release. Partner with design teams to assess feasibility, responsiveness, and implementation details of UI components. Act as a subject matter expert in front-end development, focusing on accessibility, testing, data handling, and user experience. Develop data-rich interfaces using modern web standards and technologies. Advocate for end users by influencing priorities and technical decisions that enhance usability and overall experience. Engage in cross-team working groups to share knowledge and expand expertise in front-end development. Contribute to collaborative development efforts, including pair programming, code reviews, and design discussions. Work with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritize, and implement new features and enhancements that support HashiCorp customers and the broader community. What you'll need (basic qualifications) 3+ years of experience as a frontend engineer. Professional experience developing with a JavaScript framework (e.g., Ember.js, Angular, Nuxt, or Next), with an interest in working with modern Ember.js. Experience working collaboratively with a distributed team, including remote and in-office team members. Strong appreciation for feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and growth as an engineer. Alignment with HashiCorp's principles and professional values. Familiarity with or willingness to learn key workflows involved in HashiCorp products (Terraform, Packer, Vagrant, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul). What's nice to have (preferred qualifications) You have experience using HashiCorp products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul). You have prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams
