Description

Safely deliver glass product to customers in a timely manner to our customers.

Pay rate: $0.55 per mile

We are looking for a commercial driver to work out of our Pueblo CO location, someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and honest with a “get it done” attitude to ensure our delivery team works with the upmost efficiency and safety.

NO Hook & Pull. Drivers will handle glass to load and unload trucks up to 50lbs individually and up to 200lbs with team lift.

Possible Routes this position will travel:

North: Pueblo to Minneapolis MN & Back

Route Details:

The Route leaves every Sunday and returns on Wednesday. Off days are Thru-Sat. Position pays for downtime due to weather and mechanical for anything more than 4 hours per day. The trailer will be loaded and ready for the driver by Sunday AM. There are multiple stops along the way, delivering to our customers (mostly retail glass shops) and generally to the same customers every week, with the occasional new customer. We deliver to the same “storefronts” every week (No Big box stores).

Requirements

· Maintain a valid driver’s license Class A

· Maintain an acceptable MVR and current DOT Medical card

· Meet scheduling requirements as outlined by Shipping Manager

· Pre & post trip vehicle inspections

· Maintain vehicle mileage via ELD

· Complete paperwork correctly (shippers/return slips)

· Check and secure loads

· Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery

· Able to pass DOT regulated drug/alcohol screen

· Adhere to all DOT guidelines

· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

· Great attendance and work ethic
