This is a summer 2026 position
Overall Responsibilities of the Activities Associate:
- Ensure individuals participating in recreation activities have an enjoyable experience.
- Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
- Works well with other team members.
- Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Typical duties that may be assigned to an Activities Associate include but are not limited to:
- Staff Family Recreation Center
- Provide optimal level of services to all Members and guests.
- Answer phones, take messages, and utilize resort specific software to manage reservations.
- Issue, collect and account for recreational equipment.
- Make sales utilizing cash and electronic sales system, including selling concessions, taking payments for rentals, and balancing cash box at start and end of shift.
- Prepare food to sell in Recreation Center and at other Activities Department events.
- Daily cleaning of Family Recreation Center and grounds.
- Contribute to the development of recreation programs.
- Engage in promotional activities.
- Provide instruction to Members and others taking part in recreational activities.
- Ensure the safety of all participants.
- Assist with creating flyers, brochures, and other creative projects.
- Assist in coordinating and setting up equipment for Activities Department events.
- Assist in coordinating the transportation for related Activities Department events.
- Assist in gathering documents for related Activities Department events.

Requirements
Minimum of 14 years of age and actively pursuing a high school diploma; or have completed high school. Must be a motivated self-starter. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
