About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at HDH for a Business Manager. We are looking for someone who will support the Director team to achieve objectives, be highly motivated and experienced and able to work in a fast-paced environment, have knowledge of business/adminstrative principles and procedures and organise their own workload in a creative, committed and collaborative way in line with the Trust values, will support the team with a diverse range of activities to deliver the projects/programmes/objectives of the team. Main duties of the job: To provide a comprehensive business support service to the Executive and Non-executive Director Team. This will also include cover with the Corporate Affairs Team providing support to the Director Team and Company Secretary, to include: Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for the relevant Director Monitor expenditure and ensure cost-effectiveness in the delivery of services Prepare financial; reports and forecasts for the relevant Director Identify and implement efficiency savings in line with NHS financial targets Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of Trust wide and service specific strategies Support continuous improvement programmes in line with our HDFT Impact Methodology Conduct and support business case development for new initiatives or service redesign Analyse data to support planning and improvements Operational Management: Line manage and support staff as required (including recruitment, appraisals, training) Support workforce planning and role redesign to meet changing service needs Promote staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives in live with our KITE Values.
