Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Vice President of Research and Development (R&D). The Vice President R&D will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of research and development initiatives. This includes overseeing software and product development projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions. The position requires strategic thinking, project management, and the ability to drive product enhancements from conception through to launch.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of management experience within the software industry.
- Extensive experience in Research and Development (R&D) and Product Development
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proven leadership in Cross-functional Team Management
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in the utility sector is a plus
