About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET to join our engineering team in Mumbai. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications through both manual and automated testing. You’ll play a critical role in building scalable test frameworks, improving automation coverage, and delivering robust software products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
2. Collaborate with development teams to understand features and technical implementation.
3. Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or issues found during testing.
4. Perform regression testing and ensure the reliability of releases.
5. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests.
6. Participate in design and code reviews with a focus on quality and testability.

Requirements:

1. 2–5 years of experience as an SDET or similar role.
2. Strong programming/scripting skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
3. Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
4. Familiarity with REST APIs testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
5. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
6. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
7. Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Exposure to performance or load testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
2. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or any cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
3. Prior experience in fintech/e-commerce/consumer tech domains.
