Role: QA Engineer

The QA engineer will be responsible for quality assurance in software development through testing and implementation, collaborating with other team members to create and analyse project documents, and participating in all phases of the test cycle including manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

1. Assures quality within the software application by developing and implementing effective test plans, test cases and test scripts and by assuring the business logic is appropriate and maintained for the client
2. Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications
3. Perform manual testing of applications to identify defects and ensure functionality
4. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand product features and identify testing requirements
5. Document and report bugs, issues, and improvements in a clear and concise manner
6. Participate in Unit Testing, Integration/System Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc
7. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Automation testing frameworks

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. 2-4 year of experience as QA Engineer
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
4. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
5. Hands on experience in automated testing is preferred
6. Location: Mumbai (work from office)
