The Qualifications We Seek
Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years of experience in IT systems, installation, or application support
- Previous experience working in a remote IT help desk environment, preferably within the last 1-5 years
Preferred Work Experience and Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of computers, printers, and networking equipment used in small-business environments
- Hands-on experience with hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of security best practices for protecting sensitive healthcare data
- Background in customer-facing technical support, preferably within a healthcare or pharmacy setting
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
- Effective prioritization, time-management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to work independently while managing changing priorities
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Dedication to continuous learning and staying current with technologies and products relevant to pharmacy operations
- Professional and confident telephone communication skills
- Amenability to shifting schedules within the US Eastern Time Zone

Your Daily Tasks
- Respond promptly to help desk tickets and phone calls from pharmacies
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving printers, computers, interfaces, and networking equipment
- Consult with pharmacy staff to optimize technology setups and recommend improvements
- Train pharmacy staff on software applications and hardware devices
- Document technical support activities and maintain detailed records of all interactions
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for pharmacy staff
- Collaborate with technical support team members to resolve complex issues and maintain service continuity
- Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to developing permanent solutions
- Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to remain current on technical support best practices and industry trends
