Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Diploma engineer working in the field of Logistics.
Role & Responsibility
- Book, manage and track daily shipments
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Work with Logistic vendor to minimize delivery lead time and efficient delivery
- Review stock and timely purchase of logistics and operation related materials.
- Collaborates and communicates with the Finance team, Operation team and customer service/sales representatives and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.
- Define processes for packaging and logistics of the products.
- Experience in working with different logistics vendor and
- Support product packaging and labeling activities
- Manage support order and other shipments activities
Skills & Experience
- Diploma with 3+ years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experience
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
- Good proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Prior global shipping management/customs clearance experience is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Jira tools is required.
