Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tiruchirappalli for a Hardware Engineer. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing hardware systems, creating circuit designs, and executing hardware testing and validation. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, troubleshooting hardware issues, optimizing performance, and contributing to the development of high-quality electronic hardware components for automotive systems.
Qualifications
- 1–4 years’ experience in hardware engineering
- Strong skills in schematic design and circuit development
- Hands-on experience in PCB layout and Gerber file generation
- Knowledge of design calculations and worst-case analysis
- Experience in FMEA and DFMEA for reliability analysis
- Proficient with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.)
- Good understanding of analog and digital electronics
- Ability to support end-to-end hardware development and validation
- Effective in cross-functional team collaboration
- Working knowledge of industry standards, including ISO 26262 and ISO 21434, is an advantage
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
