We are hiring a Hardware Engineer – Electrical & Automation for ERICH India, a pioneer in mixing and pelletisation technology.
Position: Hardware Engineer – Electrical & Automation
Experience: 5–6 Years
Location: Pune / Chakan
Key Skills Required:
Software & Design Tools
- Expert in EPLAN:
- Circuit diagrams, GA drawings
- MCC / PLC panels
- Motor control & power distribution systems
- VFD / Soft Starter systems
- Siemens PLC hardware design
- Proficient in AutoCAD:
- Cable routing layouts
- Electrical equipment layouts
- Installation drawings
- Block diagrams / scheme drawings
Electrical Design
- Switchgear selection: DOL, RDOL, Star Delta starters, etc.
- VFD / Soft Starter selection (Siemens preferred)
- Cable sizing, current / short circuit calculations
- Busbar selection & fault calculations
- Metering devices, control transformer selection
- Motor applications & panel earthing knowledge
Automation Design
- PLC hardware selection & I/O configuration:
- CPU, memory card
- DI / DO, AI / AO
- RTD inputs
- High-speed counter / encoder inputs
- Experience with TIA Portal Selection Tool
- Knowledge of controllers, HMIs, and metering systems
Instrumentation
- RTD, proximity switch, limit switch
- Pull cord, zero speed, belt sway switches
- Pressure, flow, level, and temperature sensors / transmitters
Plant Equipment Exposure
- Understanding of control philosophy & interlocking
- Exposure to bulk material handling equipment:
- Mixer
- Pelletizer
- Bucket Elevator
- Belt Conveyor
Added Advantage
Exposure to TIA Portal PLC programming and SIMATIC WinCC SCADA will be highly preferred.
