Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Design Engineer role based in Noida. The Hardware Design Engineer will design and develop electronics hardware for EV charging products, including circuit design, hardware architecture definition, and detailed schematic creation. Responsibilities include selecting components, performing simulations and calculations, collaborating with PCB designers, and validating designs through testing and troubleshooting in the lab. The role involves working closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and scalable hardware solutions that meet safety, compliance, and performance requirements. The Hardware Design Engineer will also contribute to documentation, design reviews, continuous improvement of existing products, and support R&D efforts for grid-balancing and V2G technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong hardware development skills, including experience in Hardware Development and Hardware Design for power electronics or embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Electronics Hardware Design and Circuit Design, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for power conversion and control.
- Ability to define and implement robust Hardware Architecture for EV chargers or similar power electronics products.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools, schematic capture, and layout collaboration, plus component selection and derating practices.
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers) and hardware validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and EMC standards for power electronics and EV charging systems, and familiarity with grid-interfacing requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in both technical documentation and discussions.
