Job Summary:
The Production Operation Head – Kitchen Cabinetry will own end-to-end manufacturing
operations for Stanley Lifestyles’ premium kitchen cabinetry division. You’ll drive production
planning, quality, cost, delivery, and safety across CNC machining, edge banding, lamination,
assembly, finishing, and dispatch. The role combines shop-floor leadership with strategic process
improvement to scale output while maintaining Stanley’s luxury quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Own daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for kitchen cabinetry lines to meet
OTIF targets
Balance capacity across CNC routers, beam saws, edge banders, membrane presses, paint
shops, and assembly stations
Coordinate with Sales, Design, and Project teams to convert approved kitchen designs into
production orders
Drive S&OP process for kitchen division – forecast RM, hardware, and manpower needs
Implement and sustain QC checkpoints: panel cutting tolerance, edge banding adhesion,
finish quality, hardware fitting, packaging
Reduce rework & rejection PPM through root cause analysis, Poka-Yoke, and SOP
adherence
Lead ISO 9001, 5S, and Lean initiatives on the kitchen shop floor
Work with R&D/Design to productionize new finishes, materials, and modular systems
Monitor and improve key metrics: labor productivity, machine OEE, material yield, first-
pass yield
Drive BOM accuracy, nesting optimization, and off-cut reuse to control wood/board
wastage
Own P&L for kitchen production – RM cost, conversion cost, overhead absorption
Lead automation & capex proposals for scaling capacity or reducing touchpoints
Manage 80–150-member team: supervisors, CNC operators, carpenters, assemblers,
painters, QC, helpers
Plan shift deployment, skill matrix, multiskilling, and operator training programs
Ensure safety compliance: PPE, dust extraction, machine guarding, fire safety, chemical
handling
Build culture of accountability, quality ownership, and continuous improvement
Forecast and trigger procurement for MDF/HDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, acrylic,
hardware – Hettich, Hafele, Blum
Coordinate with in-house paint shop and outsourced finishing vendors if needed
Ensure on-time dispatch to project sites with proper packaging, labeling, and site-readiness
checks
Maintain ERP data accuracy – work order closure, inventory, consumption, labor booking
Present daily production dashboard, weekly WIP review, monthly cost & efficiency
reports
Support digital initiatives: barcoding, shop-floor tablets, MES integration
Requirements:
Education: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engg. Diploma + strong
experience considered
Experience: 12-18 years in modular furniture/kitchen manufacturing, with 5+ years
heading production operations
Must-have exposure: CNC panel processing, edge banding, membrane/PU/paint
finishing, modular cabinet assembly
Preferred: Experience with luxury/modular kitchen brands, knowledge of European
hardware systems, Lean Six Sigma
Software: ERP – SAP/Oracle, AutoCAD reading, Excel/PowerBI for reporting
