Hands-on Senior .NET Technical Lead (ASP.NET Core / .NET 10)

Desired Candidate Profiles
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, a deep understanding of modern architectural patterns, and experience with cloud platforms.
As a Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in building and shaping the future of our technology stack, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across our applications.
Work Location: Bhilai, Pune (WFH can be considered)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems using .NET technologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- Actively write production-level code while leading the development team
- Collaborate with product owners to break down product features into technical tasks and estimates
- Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
- Define and own the technical roadmap, sprint milestones, and delivery timelines
- Ensure accountability for project milestones and delivery
- Establish and enforce Git branching strategies (GitFlow / trunk-based), PR review processes, and Coding standards
- Identify technical debt, prioritize refactoring, and maintain high code quality standards
- Lead a small, agile development team including ownership of hiring, onboarding, and mentoring
- Mentor and guide developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Oversee code quality standards and practices, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in technology and processes
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the efficient development and deployment of software solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the company's technology strategy.
Key Skills Required:
- 6 – 10 years of overall .NET development experience, with at least 2–3 years in a technical lead or architecture role. Hands-on coding experience must be current, not historical.
- Strong Git management including branching strategies, merging conflict resolution, and release tagging.
- Experience leading and delivering in small teams (3–10 developers)
- Proven experience with backend API development in asp.net core with database (Postgres/SQL server / my SQL)
- Hands-on coding capability is mandatory, as this is not a review-only role.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including deployment and management of cloud-based applications.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, architectural styles, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
Added advantage:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, and their application in software systems.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
