<strong>Position Overview<br></strong><br>
</div><div>We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented <strong>Controller</strong> to lead the financial operations of a growing hospitality management group overseeing 10+ hotels across multiple states. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing strategic financial insight to support ownership and executive leadership.<br><br>
</div><div>The ideal candidate brings a strong background in hotel accounting, multi-property oversight, and a hands-on leadership style.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Oversee all accounting operations for a portfolio of 10+ hotels, including full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close </li>
<li> Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP </li>
<li> Monitor and analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting </li>
<li> Ensure compliance with brand standards (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Hyatt) and ownership reporting requirements </li>
<li> Lead, mentor, and develop on-property and centralized accounting teams </li>
<li> Maintain and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures </li>
<li> Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and banking partners </li>
<li> Oversee cash management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll review, and capital expenditures </li>
<li> Partner with operations leadership to improve profitability, cost controls, and financial efficiency </li>
<li> Assist in acquisitions, transitions, and new hotel openings as needed </li>

<strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) </li>
<li> 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in hospitality or multi-unit environments </li>
<li> Strong knowledge of hotel financial metrics (RevPAR, GOP, NOI, CPOR) </li>
<li> Experience with hotel systems such as M3, ProfitSword, Opera, or similar platforms </li>
<li> Proven ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines in a fast-paced environment </li>
<li> Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills </li>
<li> Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools</li>
