Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a safe working and guest environment to prevent injuries and accidents.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations, supervision, service techniques, and guest interaction.
- Regularly reviews guest satisfaction, implements necessary marketing and operational adjustments to meet demand and market changes, and resolves food quality and service complaints through positive guest interaction.
- Organizes and conducts pre-shift and monthly meetings to communicate company changes and improvements to staff.
- Creates staff schedules and directs work assignments.
- Implements and monitors controls for food, beverage, and labor costs against the location budget to achieve revenue and expense targets.
- Conducts regular inventories (weekly and monthly).
- Visually monitors the facility daily, taking corrective action to ensure food quality and service standards, verifying temperatures, appearance, and taste, and guiding improvements for consistency.
- Orders and inspects incoming products and deliveries for quality and safety, ensuring proper staging and adherence to FIFO/stocking procedures.
- Ensures compliance with all location policies, procedures, local, state, and federal laws, and health regulations.
- Audits shift systems and procedures for integrity, including daily bank counts and weekly QA audits, and performs preventive maintenance on equipment and supplies.
- Submits and checks biweekly payroll and adjusts schedules based on business needs.
- Participates in the development, implementation, and marketing of new menus to attract target customers and promote the company.
- Demonstrates considerable skill in math, including percentages, and the ability to understand and utilize budgets and P&L statements, including establishing part levels based on operational needs.
- Communicates effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with varying levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve issues with guests and employees.
- Maintains the ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations during busy periods.
- Leads, trains, supervises, counsels, and develops location team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Demonstrates the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
- Possesses the ability to handle and resolve employee issues.
Education and Experience:
- High School or Equivalent is required
- Restaurant365 experience is preferred but not required
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in performing duties and responsibilities including previous supervisory experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with cross functional partners to drive success of the organization.
Work Environment & Schedule:
This exempt role typically works 50 hours a week and requires prolonged standing. You must be able to carry 30 lbs.
