About the role

The Workday Payroll Product Expert – US Payroll within the Enterprise Applications / HR, Legal & Compliance Systems team, which is part of the D&T CTO organization, will work closely with HR business teams, Tech Product & Service teams, third party vendors and service providers to ensure proper functional design, implementation, and support for Tech solutions and first-class tech enablement, standardization, continuous improvement, and compliance of end-to-end HR Tech functional operability.

Expected Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience of working with enterprise solutions in these areas: -Payroll vendor SaaS solutions (e.g., SDWorx, ADP, etc) Workday Payroll (especially for US & CA markets), Workday Time Tracking & Absence modules Workday integration tool set (e.g., PECI Connectors, Workday Studio, XSLT, Web Services, etc)

  • Being currently in Workday (Workday US & Canada payroll & Integrations – for the US/Canada/Americas markets), previously certified plus.

  • Extensive experience in US/CA & Americas payroll & Tech requirements (e.g. 401k plan; US payroll integrations, etc) and ability to work closely to Americas time zones

  • Extensive experience in Payroll vendor SaaS solutions (e.g., SDWorx, ADP, etc) and Workday integration tool set (e.g., PECI Connectors, Workday Studio, XSLT, Web Services, etc)

  • Experience of ensuring Tech solutions are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements (e.g., SOX)

  • Experience of gathering business / system functional requirements and translate them into technical design specs, test scenarios/cases & documentation.

  • Degree education

Preferred skills & experience

  • Experience in other Workday modules/areas (e.g., Reporting, Extend) are a plus.

  • Hands on experience with Product/software development tools: A-ha, Jira is a plus.
