- Conduct routine check-ups, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast examinations
- Diagnose and treat reproductive health conditions such as infections, hormonal disorders, and cancers
- Monitor and manage pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care (if also practicing obstetrics)
- Provide family planning services, including contraception counseling
- Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and biopsies
- Educate patients on sexual health, fertility, and menopause management
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
- MBBS degree followed by specialization in Gynecology (MD/MS or equivalent)
- Valid medical license to practice
- Clinical training in obstetrics and gynecology
- Strong knowledge of women’s health issues and medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Empathy and patient-centered approach
- Attention to detail and precision
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
