Position Overview- Role: Consultant Gynecologist / Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB-GYN) / MD Gynecology / MS OB-GYN / DNB OB-GYN

- Department: Gynecology / Women's Wellness & Aesthetics
- Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Shift-based protocols mutually agreed upon)

Qualifications & Profile RequirementsTo maintain the highest standards of clinical governance and patient trust, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Primary Education: MD (Obstetrics & Gynecology), MS (Obstetrics & Gynecology), or DNB (OB-GYN) from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Licensure: Must hold a valid, active registration with the Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) or the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Experience:
- Senior Consultant: 3 to 7+ years of post-qualification clinical experience in a dedicated outpatient (OPD) setup, women's hospital, or multi-specialty corporate hospital environment.
- Aesthetic Gynecology Track (Preferred): Specialized certification or experience in non-surgical aesthetic gynecology procedures is highly preferred.
- Core Competencies: Extensive clinical knowledge in managing reproductive health, menstrual disorders, PCOS/PCOD, menopausal transitions, contraceptive counseling, and antenatal/postnatal care.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, an empathetic and highly private bedside manner, and a strong collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with other clinical departments.
Key Responsibilities & Operational Protocols1. Clinical Care & Outpatient Management- Conduct daily Outpatient Department (OPD) consultations for standard gynecological complaints (such as menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, vaginal infections, and structural issues).
- Provide definitive management and long-term care plans for reproductive endocrine disorders, focusing heavily on PCOD/PCOS management, hormonal optimization, and fertility counseling.
- Offer comprehensive menopausal wellness protocols, family planning counseling, and adolescent gynecological care.
- Oversee day-care observation protocols, minor clinical samplings (like Pap smears, high vaginal swabs), and basic non-surgical interventions.
2. Internal Synergy & Cross-Referrals- Act actively as the primary physician for women's wellness, identifying systemic issues that intersect with other specialties.
- Collaborate closely with Amista's established wings (e.g., cross-referring a PCOS or hormonal patient experiencing severe acne, hirsutism, or hair loss to the Dermatology and Trichology team, and vice versa).
- Partner with the clinic's core team to seamlessly integrate aesthetic gynecology procedures into existing wellness packages.
3. Preventive Healthcare, Wellness & Outreach- Lead and curate Amista’s premium Women's Executive Health Check-up panels, interpreting diagnostic profiles, and conducting comprehensive preventive health counseling.
- Actively participate in community wellness initiatives, corporate women's health camps, and awareness programs (such as cervical cancer screening drives and breast health awareness) to build local patient trust.
4. Documentation & Compliance- Maintain highly accurate, digitized health records using the Clinic Management Software / Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Ensure absolute compliance with standard treatment guidelines, PCPNDT protocols (if applicable), and medical confidentiality frameworks, providing institutional support alongside the administration.
