Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with 810 years of expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) implementation, customization, and support. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge across multiple MDG domains including Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance, with hands-on experience in workflows, data modeling, BRF+, FPM, WebDynpro, and integration technologies.
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with the ability to work collaboratively with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient MDG solutions.
Key Responsibilities
SAP MDG Technical Development :
- Design, develop, and deliver SAP MDG technical solutions across multiple master data domains including Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.
- Customize and enhance MDG data models, user interfaces, workflows, validations, derivations, and business rules.
- Develop and maintain MDG-specific applications using BRF+, FPM, WebDynpro ABAP, and Floorplan Manager.
- Configure and enhance governance processes to support business data management requirements.
Enhancements & Integrations
- Implement BADIs, custom enhancements, and technical extensions within SAP MDG.
- Develop and support data replication frameworks using SOA services, IDOCs, and DRF (Data Replication Framework).
- Integrate SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems for seamless master data synchronization.
- Support workflow configurations, rule-based validations, and approval processes.
Technical Support & Optimization
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues within SAP MDG environments.
- Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization for MDG applications and interfaces.
- Proactively identify process gaps and recommend technical improvements and best practices.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables with adherence to SAP standards and client-specific development guidelines.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, architects, and integration teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and knowledge transfer documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810 years of overall SAP technical experience with strong expertise in SAP MDG.
- Hands-on experience across SAP MDG domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.
- Strong experience in BRF+, FPM, WebDynpro ABAP, and Floorplan Manager.
- Expertise in MDG workflows, validations, derivations, and data modeling.
- Experience with BADI implementations, enhancements, and custom developments.
- Strong knowledge of DRF, SOA services, IDOCs, and data replication techniques.
- Good understanding of SAP ABAP development concepts and debugging techniques.
- Experience in integrating SAP MDG with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA MDG implementations.
- Exposure to SAP MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and UI enhancements for MDG.
- SAP MDG certification is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
