Position: Gujarati Language Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $10–$30/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Translate documents, communications, and multimedia content between Gujarati and other languages with accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Review and edit Gujarati materials to ensure fluency, consistency, and contextual appropriateness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide linguistic insights and support project objectives.
- Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and other Gujarati language assets.
- Conduct quality assurance checks for digital and print content in Gujarati.
- Provide guidance on localization strategies for Gujarati-speaking audiences.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to language knowledge sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- Professional-level proficiency in written and spoken Gujarati.
- Strong command of English for cross-language communication.
- Experience in translation, editing, or related linguistic roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to convey nuanced meanings while maintaining contextual accuracy.
- Familiarity with language tools and digital collaboration platforms.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with distributed teams.
