Guidewire Technical Delivery Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Technical Delivery Manager to lead technical delivery, production support, and engineering execution across Guidewire platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong technical leader with deep insurance domain knowledge, hands-on Guidewire expertise, and proven experience managing engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.
This role is ideal for someone who can combine technical architecture, delivery ownership, integration expertise, release management, and people leadership while working closely with engineering, support, business, and integration teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a technical engineering team of approximately 7–8 members.
- Own technical delivery across Guidewire applications, including production support, enhancements, integrations, and releases.
- Provide technical leadership for Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter configuration and integration work.
- Support BAU operations and ensure timely resolution of production issues, bugs, minor enhancements, and compliance tickets.
- Lead and support L1.5 and L2 support teams with technical guidance and escalation support.
- Drive development support for L3 tickets, including defect fixes and minor enhancements.
- Coordinate with integration teams to ensure smooth delivery of cross-system changes.
- Oversee Guidewire Integration Gateway implementation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Manage release planning, deployment coordination, and production readiness activities.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and recommend scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Support cloud-based Guidewire implementations and CI/CD-driven delivery models.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5–10 years of Insurance and Guidewire experience.
- Strong experience in Guidewire technical architecture, delivery management, and engineering leadership.
- Experience leading or managing a team of 7–8 engineers.
- Strong BAU / production support experience.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud.
- Strong experience with Guidewire Integration Web Services.
- Experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway.
- Strong configuration experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
- Experience with L3 development support, including bugs, minor enhancements, and compliance tickets.
- Experience in release management and deployment coordination.
- Experience coordinating with multiple integration and platform teams.
