Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Technical Architect with strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Guidewire architecture, integrations, data mapping, and cloud/on-premises deployments, along with the ability to lead technical teams and client discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end Guidewire solutions across ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter.
- Define scalable technical architecture for both Guidewire Cloud and On-Premises environments.
- Lead complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Guidewire Cloud APIs, messaging, plugins, and edge applications.
- Perform and oversee field-level data mapping for data migration, integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Lead on-premises to Guidewire Cloud migration initiatives, including configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, and deployment.
- Review technical designs and code to ensure adherence to Guidewire architecture and coding standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Guidewire development teams.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and client stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues and provide appropriate architectural solutions.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 8+ years of Guidewire experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Guidewire ClaimCenter (CC)
- Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC)
- Guidewire BillingCenter (BC)
- Experience with both Guidewire Cloud and On-Premises implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Gosu, Java, XML, GUnit, REST/SOAP Web Services, APIs, and SQL/database querying.
- Strong experience in Guidewire integrations, data migration, field-wise mapping, and third-party system integrations.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud migration and upgrade projects.
- Strong architecture, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred
- Guidewire Certified Integration Specialist certification.
- Guidewire Certified Professional Architect certification.
- Experience leading large-scale Guidewire implementation or transformation projects.
