Role OverviewWe are looking for experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter professionals to provide real-time work support to candidates working in live projects across the P&C insurance domain. This role involves assisting professionals in handling production issues, development tasks, configurations, and integrations within PolicyCenter environments.
This is not a training role — this is hands-on, project-level support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily work support on Guidewire PolicyCenter development and configuration tasks
- Assist in debugging, defect fixes, and production issue resolution
- Support enhancements, integrations, and customizations
- Guide candidates on best practices, coding standards, and architecture decisions
- Help in handling Jira tasks, sprint deliverables, and Agile workflows
- Review code and ensure quality, performance, and scalability
- Assist with deployment issues and environment-specific challenges
Good to Have- Experience in BillingCenter / ClaimCenter
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Prior experience in work support or mentoring professionals

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter development, configuration, and integration skills
- Proficiency in Java, Gosu scripting, and object-oriented programming concepts
- Knowledge of database management, including SQL and PL/SQL experience
- Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum
- Familiarity with Guidewire tools such as Studio and Data Model; experience with BillingCenter and ClaimCenter is a plus
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot efficiently
- Experience with web services, APIs, and cloud technologies is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
