Guidewire Integration Lead (Integration Gateway Preferred)
Role Description
The Integration Lead will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering end-to-end integration solutions across enterprise systems, with a strong focus on Guidewire platforms. This role involves understanding business requirements, defining integration architecture, and leading development teams to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
The position acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze customer/business requirements and translate them into integration solutions
- Define integration architecture, design patterns, and delivery roadmap for Guidewire implementations
- Lead planning, estimation, and execution of integration deliverables across projects
- Design and implement APIs, web services, and messaging-based integrations (real-time & batch)
- Ensure seamless integration between Guidewire applications and external/internal systems
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to integration teams
- Drive best practices around integration design, performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams for solution alignment
- Manage integration lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, and support
- Act as escalation point for integration-related issues and ensure timely resolution
- Participate in organizational initiatives such as audits, trainings, and client engagements
Primary Skills
- Strong experience on Guidewire platform (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter)
- Hands-on experience in Guidewire Integration (Gosu-based integrations, APIs, messaging)
- Experience in integration roles such as Architect / Integrator / Configurator on enterprise programs
- Strong understanding of Insurance domain (P&C preferred)
- Experience in API-led architecture, microservices, and middleware platforms
Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway (preferred/bonus)
- Proficiency in XML, REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON, Messaging (Kafka, MQ, etc.)
- Hands-on with Gosu, JavaScript, Java, XSD/WSDL
- Familiarity with ESB/API Gateway tools (MuleSoft, Apigee, etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud integrations
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and integration testing

Experience & Qualification
- 6+ years of experience in software development/integration with at least 1 year+ in a lead role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
