About The Job
ValueMomentum is seeking passionate and skilled Guidewire Developers with hands-on experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter) to join our growing Core Technology Solution Center.
In this role, you will design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications to meet customer business requirements while delivering high-quality, scalable, and innovative insurance technology solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong Guidewire implementation expertise along with exposure to modern development practices, integration technologies, and Generative AI tools.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using SOAP and REST APIs.
- Write, debug, and optimize code using Java, Gosu, and SQL.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools to improve development productivity and code quality.
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Provide support for QA and production environments.
- Analyze and resolve complex software issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend process or technical improvements where applicable.
- Identify and implement development best practices and process enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on implementation experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, and XSLT.
- Experience with Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, and Data Model.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI pair programming tools.
- Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or internal GenAI tool development.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their applications in software development.
- Familiarity with SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or similar document generation platforms.
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance, including commercial and personal lines.
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira and version control systems such as SVN.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good To Have
Candidates with the following additional skills will have an added advantage during profile assessment:
- Guidewire certifications (e.g., PolicyCenter Configuration Specialist).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins and Docker.
- Knowledge of insurance business processes and domain workflows.
