Job Description: Guidewire Business Analyst (SmartCOMM)
Experience: 2– 10+Years
Location : PAN India
Notice Period: Immediate or 15 days less
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Guidewire Business Analyst with SmartCOMM expertise to support customer communication solutions within the insurance domain. The role involves requirement gathering, SmartCOMM template design, and ensuring alignment between business needs and Guidewire systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies
- Create business process flows and functional specifications
- Design and develop SmartCOMM templates, forms, and layouts
- Perform data mapping and manage variable data
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements
- Translate business requirements into system specifications
- Work with development and testing teams for successful delivery
- Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Conduct workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings
- Prepare training materials and conduct user training sessions
- Act as SME for SmartCOMM and support project teams
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in SmartCOMM Suite
- Expertise in:
- Interactive communications (Draft Editor, Data Capture)
- Forms design and template development
- Data mapping and variable data handling
Strong Business Analysis skills:
- Requirement gathering & elicitation
- Gap analysis and documentation
- Stakeholder management
Experience in:
- Static and dynamic layouts (Print/Web)
- Testing support (System Testing, UAT)
Nice to Have Skills
- Exposure to Guidewire Suite:
- PolicyCenter (PC)
- ClaimCenter (CC)
- BillingCenter (BC)
- Experience with APD (Advanced Product Designer)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe)
Domain Requirement
- Insurance Domain (Property & Casualty preferred)
- Experience in:
- Policy Administration
- Claims
- Billing
- New Business
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Business Analyst with strong SmartCOMM expertise
- Exposure to Guidewire ecosystem preferred
- Strong insurance domain knowledge (P&C)
- Excellent stakeholder handling and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
