About the role
Guidewire Software is seeking an Automation Engineer Intern for a six-month internship (June – November) as part of the Business Technology team. The intern will work on active DevSecOps and infrastructure projects, gaining real-world experience in automation, cloud technologies, and agile development.
Requirements
Work as part of a scrum team following a two-week sprint model
Collaborate with DevSecOps and infrastructure engineers on live projects
Automate AWS platform services, including ServiceNow, Jenkins, and AWS infrastructure
Develop Slack integrations and streamline Slack applications
Provision tools and automate workflows using the AWS framework
Assist with other tasks based on team requirements
Requirements
Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
Basic knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure
Experience with scripting languages like Python or Go
Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to challenges
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technologies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with Agile methodologies and ownership-driven work culture
